Little Green Footballs is one of the most influential American conservative blogs.
The Brussels Journal is one of the top conservative websites in Europe.
What are they fighting about? My interpretation, not having read everything said on both sites, is that...
Little Green Footballs believes that some European conservatives and right-wing parties are tainted with anti-Semitic, fascist leanings, among other things. Charles Johnson on Little Green Footballs wrote last night: “The more I look into what Brussels Journal really stands for, the more repugnant it seems.”
Brussels Journal is accusing LGF and some in the American conservative movement of unconscious, left-leaning, mushy multiculturalism, among other things. It writes about "...so called (American) conservatives, who are really economic capitalists and social Marxists. For such conservatives, even as important as George W. Bush or as useful as Charles Johnson, often harbor a tangle of unexamined liberal-egalitarian assumptions wrapped around an inner strongbox of shallow shibboleths that they haven't either the intellect or the civic courage to examine. One hopes that the knee-jerk overreaction by Charles Johnson and other American "conservatives" will yield to a more thoughtful posture. For the Western white elite's endless preoccupation with racism and perceived xenophobia, and its worship of tolerance as the supreme virtue is a deep psychosis -- Hitler's revenge -- that ought to be recognized as such"
