Pastor, Son Found Dead in Plane Wreckage

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The pastor of a Florida church and his 13-year-old son have been found dead in the wreckage of their small plane in North Carolina.
The bodies of the Reverend Forrest Pollock and his son, Preston, were found near Cold Mountain.
The pastor of Bell Shoals Baptist Church in Brandon, Florida, was piloting the plane. He had flown with his son and a daughter to North Carolina to see their grandmother on Mother's Day. The daughter had stayed behind at her grandmother's house.
Assistant pastor George Thomasson says the congregation is ministering to Pollock's wife and the couple's surviving children.
