SHANGHAI, China - In China this week, the Reverend Franklin Graham says he's been checking regularly to see how is father is doing.
The son of evangelist Billy Graham says his father is getting around with a walker at home in North Carolina and remains lucid but has weakened noticeably in recent months.
Billy Graham's wife, Ruth, died last June, and Franklin Graham says his father misses her terribly, so next month "will be a very difficult time for him."
The elder Graham, who'll be 90 in November, has been working on a new book. Franklin Graham says his father works several hours, takes a nap, and then gets up and works a few hours more.
