CBNNews.com - Campaigning halted for Republican presidential candiate John McCain in the Denver area after the office had to be evacuated. McCain was not at the office.

Dozens of people work out of the office for the McCain camp and they were immediately evacuated as a precaution.
Emergency workers are treating it as a HazMat situation. A campaign spokesman told the Associated Press that a similiar letter was also sent to a McCain Campaign headquarters in Manchester, N.H. but they weren't sure if it also contained a white powder.
No injuries have been reported. However, at least 19 were quarantined or taken to a local hospital to be checked for exposure to a toxic substance. A hospital spokeswoman said they were all okay.
The Democratic National Convention is scheduled for next week in Denver.
