The Stakelbeck on Terror Frontpage
This item should come as no surprise to anyone. As I've documented before, Hamas has a lengthy history of support in the United States, particularly from American-Muslim advocacy groups.
Here's more, from Yahoo:
A U.S. citizen has pleaded guilty in federal court to providing material support to the militant Palestinian group Hamas, the Justice Department said on Friday.
Mohamed Shorbagi, 42, who served as imam at a mosque in Rome, Georgia, was charged in August with providing material support to a foreign terrorist organization, a charge that carries a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison.
"Shorbagi provided the support through donations to the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development knowing that some or all of the money was in fact destined for Hamas," a Justice Department statement said.
Shorbagi also "hosted high-level Hamas officials" at the mosque, it said.
