The Stakelbeck on Terror Frontpage
As I wrote here last month, Pakistan recently signed a peace accord with jihadists in its western province of Waziristan. One columnist called the agreement, "the Taliban's and al-Qaida's greatest victory since September 11, 2001." But in a CBN exclusive, Pakistan's ambassador to the United States, Mahmud Ali Durrani, said the critics have it all wrong--and that the Waziristan Accord was actually a substantial victory for Pakistan in its own War on Terror. Below are some excerpts from our interview--you be the judge. And look for my upcoming story on Waziristan on the 700 Club next month.
