– Imagine the embarrassment. Excusing yourself many times each day to go to the bathroom. Young Dima of Ukraine suffered from chronic stomach pain and diarrhea since he was five years old.
“After every meal I would immediately go to a toilet,” he says. “It was like stabbing, as if somebody strongly hit your stomach. I would even cry [because] such a strong pain it was. I would hold my stomach. I could hardly bear this pain.”
Dima’s mother did everything she could to help her son.
“We started taking medicine, visiting doctors, but the doctors couldn’t help us,” she says. “We began to treat ourselves with food supplements, herbs, and again nothing could help us.”
Dima says, “All they could do is to give me a pill and say, ‘You’ll be fine.’ But pills didn’t work. The pain would never go.”
Dima’s sickness plagued him into his teen years.
“I would be praying and praying, ‘Oh Lord, please heal me. You truly exist, so please heal me.’”
Dima’s mother recalls, “We started praying with Dima. The whole church was praying. We asked God to heal our boy.”
God was about to answer those prayers. Dima was in the habit of waking early and watching The 700 Club. He always looked forward to prayer time during the show.
“I had the feeling that my disease would be called the next one. I thought, They will pray for my disease now. Then Terry Meeuwsen said, ‘God shows me through the Spirit that there is a young man who is sitting and watching this program, and he suffers a stomach disease. Put your hand on the stomach and God will touch and heal you right now.’
“I put my hand where I have pains. I felt a touch. It was somebody’s hand instead of mine touching me. I felt warmth. And my hands are usually cold. I felt as if that hand had entered into my body.”
Dima continues, “I had a feeling as if a new organ had been inserted in me. She was looking into my eyes through the TV set and saying, ‘God is healing you right now, accept your healing.’ I just accepted it and believed that God had healed me.
“Since that day diarrhea has never disturbed me. And I don’t have stomach aches.”
Dima’s mother is overjoyed. She says, “My Dima is healthy now. He is happy and joyful.”
Dima now helps with the children’s ministry.
He says, “Thank you CBN for such a wonderful program as The 700 Club. It helped me, and I’m thankful for my healing. I am thankful to God and to Terry Meeuwsen, and I recommend all the people to watch this program.”
