The Francophone African Countries include Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroun, Cote d’Ivoire, Gabon, Mali, Niger, RD Congo, Rep du Congo, Senegal, Chad, Togo, Democratic Republich of Congo, Central Africa Republic, and Mauritania. In many of these countries Islam is the primary religion. The CBN WorldReach French language office in Africa is located in Dakar, Senegal and serves as the headquarters for French West Africa.
Le Club 700 French was specifically created to reach these countries with the Gospel. Hosted by Pastor Koffi from Cameroun and TV celebrity Macy Domingo of Cote d’Ivoire, the program includes powerful testimonies of people from the region who have encountered Jesus Christ. It also discusses topics relevant to the audience and the African way of life.
In addition, Turning Point, the U.K. 700 Club with Paul and Fiona, and various animation programs such as Superbook air throughout the region. Where TV broadcasts cannot be received, CBN teams take video projectors into the bush country and shows TV programs and films.
In partnership with Operation Blessing, CBN West Africa conducts many humanitarian projects such as
disaster and hunger relief, medical missions, prison outreach, fresh water wells and micro-enterprise projects such as a food bank in Niger and fish farms and sewing centers in several countries.
