CBN Siam is located in Chiangmai, Thailand. Our staff of more than 50 occupies four floors of an office building in this beautiful city known as the “Rose of the North.” From this headquarters we provide humanitarian work, television production and counseling, and follow-up throughout the nation.
Our office opened in May 1999 with a staff of seven. The Thai government granted us foundation status in October 2001 under the name Operation Blessing Foundation (Thai). We do a variety of humanitarian activities from monthly medical missions to fresh water wells, children’s projects, holiday projects and disaster relief.
We are mostly known as CBN Siam, and we use this name and logo for our television production work. We air four programs in Thailand: From Heart to Heart, Kids Only, Acts 29, and One Cubed.
In follow-up to our television programs, we operate a counseling center that offers viewers a toll-free number to call for prayer. Follow-up services include Bible and Christian literature distribution and connecting viewers with local churches and/or Bible correspondence courses. We also train pastors and Christian leaders in areas of Christian counseling and leadership.
In addition to our main office, we opened a satellite office in the south of Thailand in April 2005, following the December 2004 tsunami. Tsunami relief work is carried out by this office under supervision of our main office and Operation Blessing manager. Our tsunami work began with emergency relief projects as survivors were placed in temporary housing. Since that time, we have built hundreds of boats for fishermen and are currently involved in livelihood projects for individuals who lost their means of earning a living after the tsunami.
